Spinach and Cheese Stuffed Meatloaf Recipe

Spinach and Cheese Stuffed Meatloaf

Ingredients:
1- 2 lbs of ground beef or turkey (adjust amount for your family size)
½ cup to ¾ cup of Italian bread crumbs
1 egg
½ tsp Morton’s Nature Season seasoning mix
1 small onion diced
1 tsp minced garlic (optional)
2 tsp Italian Seasoning
1 package chopped spinach (10 oz, thawed and drained)
½ c mozzarella cheese (any flavor that you like)
Ketchup
Small can of sliced mushrooms (optional)

Instructions:
Pre-heat oven 350.
Mix ground beef (turkey) with bread crumbs, egg, nature season, onion, garlic, and 1 tsp of the Italian Seasoning. Make sure its well mixed. Put aside.
Another bowl mix the spinach, cheese and 1 tsp of Italian seasoning till well mixed.
Split your meat mixture in half. Put half the meat in your loaf pan. Then take the spinach mix and put on top in the center. Put the rest of the meat mixture on top.
Bake for 45 minutes. When done pull out of the over and spread ketchup on top. If you like top with the mushrooms (optional). Put back in oven for 15 more minutes.
