You’ve heard the claims.  In just six weeks, that new exercise machine will turn your stomach into a six-pack.  Those new supplements will melt the fat from your waistline.  What should you believe?  Test your belly-fat knowledge with this quiz.
TRUE or FALSE: Certain exercises or equipment can target – and remove – belly fat.
False.  There is no such thing as “spot reduction.”  Despite what the commercials say, no miracle machine or exercise can burn fat only in your stomach or around your abdomen.  Exercises can strengthen your abdominal muscles, but only overall weight loss will help you lose belly fat.
